Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 17, 2026
Jet Fuel AI is committed to ensuring that the Summer Games platform is accessible to people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Our Commitment
We are committed to providing an accessible experience for all users, including those who use:
- Screen readers and other assistive technologies
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Voice recognition software
- Screen magnification tools
- Alternative input devices
Accessibility Features
Summer Games includes the following accessibility features:
- Skip to content:A "Skip to main content" link appears when you press Tab on any page, allowing keyboard users to bypass navigation.
- Accessibility widget: A floating accessibility button (bottom-right of every page) provides controls for text size, high contrast mode, reduced motion, and link highlighting.
- Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks (
main, nav, footer), and ARIA attributes throughout the application. - Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard.
- Scalable text: The viewport allows pinch-to-zoom and text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Color contrast: We maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text in our default theme.
- Reduced motion: Users who prefer reduced motion (via the accessibility widget or their OS settings) will see animations disabled.
- Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines are provided for all interactive elements when navigating with a keyboard.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- User-uploaded images may not always have descriptive alt text.
- Real-time chat and live score updates may not be immediately announced by all screen readers.
- Some third-party embedded content (e.g., maps) may have limited accessibility.
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across the platform.
