This Privacy Policy describes how Jet Fuel AI ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), located in the State of California, United States, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Summer Games platform ("Service").
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account Information: name, email address, password (hashed), gender, profile photo, and bio.
- Organization Data: organization name, description, and settings you configure.
- User Content: chat messages, trash talk, photos, media uploads, game scores, survey responses, and predictions.
- Payment Information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
- Device Information: browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
- Cookies: we use essential cookies to maintain your session and org context. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Authenticate users and manage organization memberships;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Send notifications related to your account, events, and games (in-app only);
- Moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Respond to support requests;
- Analyze usage to improve the Service.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Other members of your organization: your name, profile photo, scores, chat messages, and other content are visible to members of organizations you belong to.
- Service providers: we use third-party services to operate the platform, including:
- Vercel (hosting)
- Turso (database)
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Pusher (real-time messaging, if enabled)
- Cloudinary (image storage, if enabled)
- Google / Apple (OAuth authentication, if configured)
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account or an organization administrator removes your membership, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., maintaining historical event records).
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted database connections, hashed passwords (bcrypt), HTTPS-only access, and JWT-based authentication. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your account and associated data;
- Export your data in a portable format;
- Opt out of non-essential data processing.

Financial Incentives
We do not offer financial incentives for the collection, sale, or deletion of personal information.
CalOPPA Compliance
In accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA):
- Users can visit our site anonymously (public/spectator pages do not require an account).
- This privacy policy link is accessible from our home page and all pages via the site footer.
- Our Privacy Policy link includes the word "Privacy" and can be easily found.
- Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on this page.
- Users can change their personal information by logging into their account and visiting the Settings page.
Do Not Track (DNT) Signals
We honor Do Not Track signals. When a DNT signal is detected, we do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising. We do not use third-party behavioral tracking on this Service.

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
